1. What Melt is
Melt is a pay-to-rank leaderboard. Anyone can list a URL and bid to raise its position. Every listing's score decays over time toward a floor set by that listing's total lifetime spend — position is never permanent, for anyone.
2. Payments
All payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, who handles billing, tax, and payment card data. Melt never sees or stores your card details. By bidding, you also agree to Dodo Payments' own terms of service.
3. No refunds for decay
Bids are non-refundable. Because scores decay by design, a drop in ranking after a bid is expected behavior, not a service failure, and is not grounds for a refund on its own. Refund requests for billing errors or unauthorized charges are handled per Dodo Payments' refund policy.
4. Listing content
You're responsible for the accuracy and legality of any URL, name, or category you submit. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to remove or refuse any listing — including ones that are illegal, fraudulent, sexually explicit, abusive, or that we otherwise judge to be low-quality, deceptive, or damaging to Melt's reputation, even if not unlawful — without refunding prior bids on that listing. We don't review listings before they go live, so a removal reflects a decision made after the fact, not an endorsement of anything left up.
5. No guarantee of traffic or outcomes
A higher rank may increase visibility on this page, but Melt makes no guarantee of traffic, clicks, conversions, or any other business outcome from bidding.
6. Service availability
Melt is provided as-is, without uptime guarantees. Scores, rankings, and the underlying decay calculation may be adjusted, and the service may be modified or discontinued at any time.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Melt and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including loss of ranking, revenue, or data.
8. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of Melt after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
